The popular comedy show,
Comedy Night Bachao, will witness an array of big names in the film and
television industry, coming forward to promote their upcoming movies and shows.
The guest-list includes characters from the ongoing serials telecast on the
channel - Indira Krishnan (Kumudini), Uday Tikekar (Pradyuman) and Sana Amin
Sheikh (Aradhya) from Krishnadasi, Vidhi Pandya (Imli), Meera Deosthale
(Chakor) and Prachi Pathak (Tejaswini) from Udaan, Dheeraj Dhoopar (Prem) from
Sasural Simar Ka and Kamya Punjabi
(Preeto) from Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
It is now to be seen how these characters - who are known for their high scale
drama in their respective shows - handle the insults and jokes thrown at them
by the Comedy Nights Bachao brigade.
It will also be interesting to see these stars in their glamorous avatars as
they walk the ramp to 'Fashion ka hai yeh jalwa' from the 2008 hit Fashion.
The show will star off in its usual style, with Bharti Singh saying , “Agar
yeh log star hai, toh phir mera marna toh banta hi hai”. The standup comedian will take a dig at
senior actor Uday Tikekar.
Her hand in glove partner, Krushna Abhishek, who will be seen essaying the role
of a bus conductor in the upcoming episode, will take his passengers on a tour
of the industry. He will poke jokes at Indira Krishnan with regards to her
looks in the show. To further the insult, he will go as far as pointing out
that she was probably one of those air hostesses who could not please her
flight’s passengers. Indira, who doesn't give a penny for what others think, will
also hurl insults to the hosts and their jodidars.
Kamya Punjabi will be grilled that in spite of struggling for many year in the industry
in the hope of landing a lead protagonist role, she now lands up with
roles similar to that of the one she is currently playing - a mother-in-law in Shakti.
To take the roast forward, Bharti Singh will conduct auditions for the sequel
to Sultan. This will be done in order to take a dig at the acting talent of
Udaan actress, Meera Deosthale.
To watch all the fun,
tune into Comedy Nights Bachao, this Sunday, 18th September, 2016, at 10pm.
